Gift Guide: Shop Local

Tis the season to start shopping for the holidays.  I’ve included my top 10 local shops to look for gifts in the Birmingham area.  Feel free to comment below and include where you like to shop locally.

1. Charm, Downtown

Charm, located at 2329 2nd Ave N., is the perfect stop for modern and vintage jewelry, bags, and accessories.  Chatham always makes me laugh and knows exactly what would be a perfect gift for that special someone. http://www.charmonsecond.com/

2. Club Duquette, Woodlawn

Go by and give Morgan and Duquette some love in the heart of Woodlawn.  Give them a high five too to celebrate their one year anniversary and grab some of the softest, most comfortable tees, a pair or two of Levis, beauty products, bags, and accessories. I personally love their special Club Duquette scented candles in “Dragon’s Blood” and “Champa”.  https://clubduquette.co/

3. Seasick Records, Crestwood

Head over to Seasick records in the Crestwood Shopping Center to grab some of the best new and used music releases, and of course, a great assortment of local music on vinyl and some on CD too.  Make an appointment for a hair cut too from one of the rad barbers on hand so you can look sharp for the upcoming holiday festivities.  http://www.seasickbham.com/
